Day: Nairobi - Maasai Mara

On arrival, you’ll be picked up at the airport, hotel, or a place of residence within Nairobi by 7:00 am EAT. You'll embark on your journey to Masai Mara via Nairobi – Mai Mahiu – Narok road with stopovers at the Great Rift Valley viewpoints, the travelers' church, and Narok town before checking in at Mara Maisha Camp for lunch. Later on, you'll have an afternoon game drive on the plain savanna grasslands of Mara as you spot a variety of wildlife species before embarking on dinner and stay over.

The Great Rift Valley is the longest strip in the world with 9600 km from Mozambique to the Red Sea formed through faulting and sinking with attractive geographical features. On the other hand, the travelers’ church built by the Italian prisoners of war in 1942 is the smallest in Africa, pentagon-shaped and decorated with descriptions in Latin, and can only accommodate a maximum of three worshipers.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will have breakfast by 7:00 am EAT and head to a full-day game drive. This grants you an opportunity to spot more wildlife animals and visit the border between Masai Mara National Reserve and Serengeti National Park. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, or experience more wildebeest migration during the migration period between July to September. After the full-day game drive, you’ll head back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara simply known as Mara, is named in honor of the Maasai people. Mara means "spotted" in the local Maasai language due to the many short bushy trees that dot the landscape. It's renowned for its exceptional populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and African bush elephants. It also hosts the Great Migration which is one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Africa and is one of the 10 Wonders of the World.

Day 3: Maasai Mara - Nakuru

You will have breakfast and check out by 7:00 AM EAT and embark on your journey to Nakuru with a short stopover in Narok town for a health break and later check-in for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. After lunch, you’ll have a rest and later have an evening game drive until 6:30 pm EAT when you’ll be checking back for dinner and layover. During the game drive, you’ll be on the lookout for 4 the African Big Five, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and different bird species, keeping a keen eye on flamingoes.

Lake Nakuru National Park was gazetted in 1968 as a sanctuary for endangered Black and White Rhinos. It's also famous for Flamingoes among many more bird species. It's one of the smallest parks in Kenya with an area of 188 Square KM. It hosts other attractions such as Baboon Cliff and Makalia Falls.

Day 4: Nakuru - Amboseli

After breakfast, check out of the lodge by 7:30 AM and proceed to Amboseli with brief stops on the way for the use of restrooms and other facilities. Upon arrival in Amboseli National Park, you'll check in at Oltukai Lodge and have your buffet lunch rest for one hour, and then proceed for the afternoon game drive. Be on the lookout for the Big Four, birdlife among many more. Later you'll witness the magical sunset in the vast land of Amboseli and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park is known for the huge herds of African Elephants that inhabit the park and also for a clear view of Africa's tallest as well as the world's tallest free-standing mountain. The Park is surrounded by the Maasai Community who have reserved their traditional way of life.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

Have breakfast by 0730 AM EAT before heading for a full day game drive and try and spot more of the Amboseli wildlife (Africa's big four: The Elephants, Lions, Leopard, and Buffalos), beautiful bird nature eg Flamingoes and a short hike on the Amboseli observation hill situated in the middle of the park giving a clear view of the entire park. Later, you'll head for lunch at the Sopa Old campsite until 1400 hours before embarking on a short en-route game drive back to the main lodge by 1630Hrs for a short rest where you'll have the dinner and stayover waiting for the following day.

Day 6: Amboseli - Diani

Have breakfast by 7:00 AM, check out, and drive to Email SGR Terminus and board a train to Mombasa. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to Diani and check in at Bababb Beach Resort for lunch followed by an afternoon relaxation. Later you'll proceed to the Hotel beach for activities such as soaking yourself in the sand, swimming in the warm water of the Indian Ocean, taking pictures, and later in the evening witnessing the tides as you return to the resort for dinner and overnight rest.

Diani is located 30 KM on the South Coast of Mombasa Island. It's voted to be one of the places along the coastal region of Kenya to have the best beaches with several activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, and marine life activities. It also hosts the best accommodation facilities that offer excellent services.

Day 7: Diani

After breakfast by 6:30 AM, you'll be picked up and drive to Wasini Island where you'll have an opportunity to interact with Dolphins and other marine wildlife that you'll come across. Later you'll have a hot lunch (Seafood) and then continue with your Marine tour as you discover more of the marine wildlife. Later you'll return to the hotel with a brief stopover at Shimoni Cave.

Day 8: Diani

After breakfast by 9:00 AM, you'll proceed for a Glass Boat Tour in the Indian Ocean where you'll be able to spot various species of marine life. After this, you'll have lunch, relax for one hour, and then proceed to the beach for swimming and other non-motorized activities. Thereafter, you'll head back to the hotel for dinner and a night's stay.

Day 9: Diani - Nairobi

Have breakfast by 9:00 am EAT before checking out and be transferred to the SGR train terminus in Mombasa town where you will board the train back to Nairobi. On the way, be on the lookout for beautiful sceneries and wildlife spotting as the train traverses through the Tsavo National Park. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be picked up by our assigned guide/driver who will drop you at the JKIA, booked hotel, residential area, or designated choice of place within Nairobi city hence marking the end of your safari.
